My background
I spent 27 years in a major Queen Street firm doing a full range of civil litigation including very large commercial cases involving forestry, mining, oil and gas, construction, public company collapses, corporate regulatory prosecutions, media and defamation, property disputes and resource management cases.
Since coming to CLM nearly 10 years ago, I have continued with all kinds of dispute resolution, and added working and advising our local government clients on a full range of the issues which a community has. I also enjoy my personal clients (rather than the corporates which dominate the Queen Street practices) and helping with their matters which are so important to them.
