My background
I’ve been a partner at Cooney Lees Morgan since 1999 and I work with large commercial organisations, including local authorities, and mid-sized businesses in many different sectors of the economy.
I am particularly interested in helping businesses do business with others, whether they are contracting services or gaining access to IP, embarking on a joint-venture, setting up a franchise network, buying another business, buying land or other property, or entering an agreement with a major customer.
As well, however, I advise clients on compliance issues, risk management and business structures.
My life in the Bay of Plenty
I am passionate about the ongoing development of the Bay of Plenty region. During my time in Tauranga, I have been actively involved in the Chamber of Commerce: as a board member and as a judge of the regional business awards. My wife, Sam, and I have two children. We are active members of the community, particularly in the Omanu area where we live. My other interests include regular walking up Mauo, swimming, social tennis and wine.
