My background

Before joining Cooney Lees Morgan in 2004, I was a senior lawyer at Russell McVeagh and, prior to that, Buddle Findlay in Wellington. I spent 18 months as in-house counsel for ING Barings in Amsterdam and before that, was a solicitor with Blake Dawson Waldron in Sydney. This experience has given me a broad knowledge base for advising companies and other organisations in all areas of contract law and other specialist areas.

My life in the Bay of Plenty

I am lucky as a part time lawyer to really enjoy a work life balance. Outside of work, my three primary school aged children keep me busy and entertained. I enjoy contributing to this great community and am currently on the Board of Trustees at Mount Maunganui Primary.

I love living at the beach and our visits to Lake Rotoiti - it’s great for my Stand Up Paddle Boarding. I also love to cook, eat, travel and read. Mostly, I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my husband Murray.
