My areas of expertise
Banking and Finance/PPSR
Before joining Cooney Lees Morgan in 2004, I was a senior lawyer at Russell McVeagh and, prior to that, Buddle Findlay in Wellington. I spent 18 months as in-house counsel for ING Barings in Amsterdam and before that, was a solicitor with Blake Dawson Waldron in Sydney. This experience has given me a broad knowledge base for advising companies and other organisations in all areas of contract law.
My life in the Bay of Plenty
My position as a part time solicitor allows me to pursue other interests outside work. I am a trustee for Tarnished Frocks and Divas Charitable Trust, which produces a fabulous retro fashion and performance art show every two years. Make sure you get tickets for our September 2011 event at Mills Reef! I am also on the Jazz Festival Committee, busy planning for a fantastic 50th Festival in 2012.
With two children at primary school and a pre-schooler, my “leisure” time is busy with taxi runs and kids activities. Great fun! I also enjoy attending Mount Joggers, the odd game of tennis, my walks up the Mount and Snowboarding holidays (although I can’t get Murray to give up the skis!).
