My background

I am a born and bred Wellingtonian. After graduating in 2007 and taking an extended break to London, I returned to New Zealand to begin my legal career. In April 2009 I began working as a Solicitor for Treadwell Gordon in Whanganui. My work consisted of criminal, civil and employment litigation. I was also a duty solicitor, for criminal matters, at the District Court.

I started at Cooney Lees Morgan in January 2011 where I have continued to develop my areas of expertise. In addition, I have gained experience in resource management prosecutions and assist with a wide range of matters for local authorities. I appear in both the District and High Court on a regular basis.

My life in the Bay of Plenty

After our time in Whanganui my wife and I looked further north for a warmer climate and a life close to the beach. The Bay was the obvious choice. Outside of the office I am keen on most sports, particularly on the water. I can also be found discussing All Black selections with friends during a sunny afternoon at one of the many fine restaurants or cafes the area has to offer.
