Qualifications

Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, University of Canterbury

As an Associate in Cooney Lees Morgan’s Property and Development Team, I specialise in residential subdivisions and large-scale commercial projects. I have a true passion for property and land law, and have spent the past decade honing my skills in this area.

I grew up in the Wairarapa and began my legal career in Auckland before spending several years at a London Magic Circle firm. In late 2017 I moved to Tauranga and worked for another local firm before joining Cooneys in April 2019.

Today I advise clients on a wide range of matters including commercial and residential property transactions, development finance and subdivisions. I’m currently responsible for overseeing the 34ha ‘Hunua Views’ subdivision in Drury from a legal perspective, which is one of the largest residential developments in New Zealand. Being involved in such exciting and challenging projects motivates me to go the extra mile for my clients. I pride myself on building strong working relationships and providing quality and easy-to-understand advice, tailored to get the best results.

Outside of work I love spending time with my son and husband, and we are often either cycling around our local neighbourhood as a family or walking the family dog. I also enjoy going to the gym and socialising with friends and family.
