I’ve always had a keen interest in the property industry and began my legal career working for a small boutique property firm in Hamilton in 2014. I then spent five years working for one of Auckland’s largest commercial firms before joining Cooney’s Property & Development team in April 2022. 

As a Senior Associate, I work closely with my colleagues to advise clients on a range of property and commercial matters. I have experience in handling large-scale property sales, acquisitions, leasing arrangements and developments ($20m-$50m) and have acted for a number of clients in deals worth well in excess of $100m. 

I love working alongside clients to problem-solve, and work hard to get a great outcome for them. I bring a commercial perspective to the law so clients are not bogged down or overwhelmed by legalistic details. 

Having grown up in Hamilton, I’m excited to now live in the Bay of Plenty and enjoy the region’s lifestyle opportunities and a more relaxed pace of life. A round of golf or a day out fishing are my ideal ways to unwind.
