Legal Executive Diploma, New Zealand Law Society
After growing up in the Waikato and moving to Australia in my early 20s, I began working for an NSW-based law firm as a receptionist before also taking on the Trust Account Administrator role. I have now spent 15 years working for a variety of law firms in various roles.
In addition to attaining my Legal Executive Diploma in 2012, I completed the Trust Account Administrator’s course through the NZ Law Society in 2007 (and a refresher in 2019).
I originally joined CLM in 2013 and spent five years working initially as a Float Secretary and then as a Senior Legal Assistant in the Corporate and Commercial team. I took a two-year break to work closer to home in Waihi Beach before returning to CLM in 2020, working in both the Matamata and Tauranga offices. Since then, I have re-joined the Corporate and Commercial team and thoroughly enjoy the camaraderie and culture that we share.
My key responsibility is to support six authors in our team with the preparation of legal documents. I enjoy the challenge of adapting to new tasks and always strive to continue learning and improving my skills.
