Bay of Plenty Rugby
The Bay of Plenty Rugby Union has almost 10,000 registered players throughout the region, proving that participation in team sport is hugely important in our community and the Bay of Plenty Steamers are at the heart of it.
Cooney Lees Morgan have been an avid sponsor of the Steamers for many years, with a number of the firm heavily invested in their success! Providing support to our local team allows them to achieve at a higher level, encourages young people into the game and reinforces the benefits of team sport in developing important life skills and friendships.
In sponsoring the Steamer’s Cooney Lees Morgan is supporting a community organisation who play a major role in nurturing the game we love but who also contribute to the community in general and with the involvement of parents, grandparents, officials, referrees and more, we are able to reach tens of thousands of people and unite them in common goals and beliefs. Cooney's sponsorship of the Steamers has also benefitted other charity organisations by providing tickets to games as gifts to those in need, proving that a small gesture can make a big difference to the whole community, which is exactly why Cooney Lees Morgan is involved.
