I completed a Legal Executive Certificate in 1976 and went on to work in an Auckland firm for 10 years before moving north and working in Warkworth for 16 years.  During those years I worked predominantly in conveyancing with a focus on subdivisions, commercial (small business and leasing) areas, estates, trusts and wills.

I joined Cooney Lees Morgan in November 2003 working mostly in conveyancing, small business and leasing, trusts and wills. For a number of years I have also been completing work for a territorial authority involving easement/covenant/subdivision related matters, leasing, property transactions and acquisitions including reserve land and roading, and advice/documents involving specific Building Act matters.

Outside of work I’m passionate about supporting people with disabilities. For the past 10 years I have been a volunteer for Special Olympics Tauranga, which has included team and event management and have been Chairperson of that organisation for the past three years. My background with this organisation also proves useful in providing advice to clients regarding estate planning matters where they may have family members with a disability.
