About the role
Recent growth in our Tauranga law firm has seen an expansion of its diverse, local and growing client base. This growth has created the need for a a solicitor with resource management or prosecution experience to join the busy Dispute Resolution and Local Government team. In this role, you would be supported by experienced and approachable Partners and other Associates in this collegial, warm and collaborative team. This role will best suit a lawyer with upwards of 4 years’ PQE in resurce management work or regulatory prosecutions. You will be capable of working autonomously as well as being part of a team.
This is a full-time position with some flexibility to work from home.
What we’re looking for
- NZ admitted lawyers with a minimum 4 years’ PQE
- Experience in rsource management litigation or regulatory prosecutions
- A particular strength in written communication - both in legal drafting and client communications
- An understanding of local government (advantageous but not essential)
- Litigation and dispute resolution skills (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong focus on client satisfaction
- Strong focus on atention to detail
- Great work ethic, respectful and collaborative interpersonal style
