Position Level 2+ years PQE
Cooney Lees Morgan are a leading regional law firm based in the Bay of Plenty delivering quality and pragmatic solutions to a wide range of corporate, commercial, local authority and private clients both locally and nationally. Here at Cooney Lees Morgan we have some of New Zealand’s brightest lawyers working for us because they find their work challenging and rewarding with the benefit of working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working in the Private Client and Trust team, the role of trust specialist will focus primarily in the areas of:
- Succession planning
- Trust establishments and windups
- Trust administration
- Trust variations
- Estate planning
- Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorneys
- Occupation Right Agreements
Assisting with non-billable work including:
- writing articles
- assisting with precedents
- preparing and presenting seminars
- attending ongoing legal education seminars and workshops
- attending client functions and other client development initiatives
- promoting the firm in the community by involvement in marketing initiatives
You will be expected to be a team player, developing good working relationships with the Partners, other professional and support staff and clients of the firm.
