Senior HR Advisor

Applications Close When position filled

15 December 2021

We are a legal firm established and thriving in Tauranga for over 100 years. Our number one goal is not to be the biggest, or to have the biggest turnover, instead,  our goal is to hire the best people.

We understand that the best people are attracted to the best working environment, and we are now seeking a Senior HR Advisor to help bring this vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice on all aspects of HR, people and culture
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the employment brand
  • Strive for continuous improvement
  • Training and Induction
  • Manage recruitment and related supplier relationships
  • Work with CEO to manage and develop culture and engagement

This is a true generalist role where you will partner with the business and need to be comfortable providing assistance and advice ranging from strategic to rolling your sleeves up and solving day to day people related issues. Key focus areas outside of BAU will be culture, engagement, and employment brand.

Naturally, the successful individual will be commercially adept and someone who can communicate effectively at all levels. Strong relationship management skills and a desire to innovate and be proactive are essential. The successful candidate will possess a high level of integrity and will be capable of having open conversations across the organisation when required.  A degree in HR or related discipline is preferred as well as a track record of delivering a wide range of HR related projects.
