The Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our busy Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to continue building a rewarding career in the legal sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to authors and the partners in the team.
- Draft and format legal documents and correspondence
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and liaise between relevant parties
- File and manage court documents and legal records
- Handle client communications with professionalism and discretion
- Perform general office duties including billing, scanning, filing, and data entry
About You
You are organised, professional, and have a genuine interest in the legal profession.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years previous experience in a legal administrative role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., iManage, Actionstep)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- A team player with a proactive attitude
