Legal Assistant

The Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our busy Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to continue building a rewarding career in the legal sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to authors and the partners in the team.
  • Draft and format legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and liaise between relevant parties
  • File and manage court documents and legal records
  • Handle client communications with professionalism and discretion
  • Perform general office duties including billing, scanning, filing, and data entry

About You

You are organised, professional, and have a genuine interest in the legal profession.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years previous experience in a legal administrative role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., iManage, Actionstep)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A team player with a proactive attitude
