I joined Cooney Lees Morgan in February 2021 as an Associate in the Property and Development team. I am working mainly with developer clients assisting with small to large scale property developments in New Zealand. I have always practised mainly in the field of property law but I also have commercial and general practice experience. I like property law because it is fast paced and dynamic. 

I started my legal career in West Auckland just before the Auckland property boom, and it is amazing to me to look back and think of how the property market has completely transformed over the time I have been practising law. 

I grew up in Tauranga. My husband and I moved here from Auckland at the end of 2016 to find a better lifestyle balance for our family. We have two young children who keep us busy. My husband is a professional tennis coach and tennis is a big part of our lives. If I wasn’t a lawyer, I would be a professional tennis player but unfortunately I am not very good, so there is no danger of that happening. I love watching tennis, particularly the grand slams.
