I grew up in Matamata before heading to Otago University to complete my studies.

My legal career has been predominantly focused in property, particularly all types of transactions, development & subdivision, financing, and commercial leasing.

I have acted for some of the region’s largest builders and developers, but more broadly act for a range of clients across all aspects of property & development. I enjoy being part of the team at CLM where collaboration is part of the day to day and allows my clients to receive the benefit of knowledge and experience of a team of industry leading lawyers.

Outside the office I am inching my way (slowly!) toward a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and Psychology having always been interested in people and performance. I try to apply some of the knowledge to myself in my lifelong journey in golf, weekend warrior attempts at endurance events, but also in my career and in life – I like the concept of trying to improve.

My perfect day is a hit on the golf course (preferably Jacks Point or Wairakei) and a couple of cold beers with the playing partners recounting the drama of the round.
